Loofah Update

Wow! Whenever I tell anyone about the loofah we planted in the backyard, Bob always tells them to be ready to run as soon as the seed is in the ground.

It doesn't grow quite that fast but with tons of sunlight, heat and water it does grow and grow and I love it!!!

The loofah on the left in this picture was the first bloom on the loofah plant.
September 1, 2012 it was a beautiful bloom 37 days later, this loofah measures
14-inches long and 8.75-inches in circumference. Who knew I could grow things?
